Neurosign now selling stimulating instruments in individual packages

Neurosign®, a pioneer in the world of intraoperative nerve monitoring solutions, is now selling its innovative stimulating instruments including the elevator, curved needle, ring dissector, and stimulating dissectors in single packages. The single packs make the products more affordable for practices whose case load calls for fewer stocked quantities.

Originally designed by a neurotologist, the instruments were conceived to manipulate, lift, and dissect tissue away from tumors while also monitoring for nerves.

The built-in stimulation capabilities provide ongoing feedback of nerve proximity, mitigating the need to use and switch between other surgical tools, such as a separate stimulating probe.

Previously only offered in packages of 10, the new individually packaged instruments are now for sale at a price that better serves practices whose occasional need only requires a few of the instruments to be stocked.

“We believe that intraoperative nerve monitoring solutions need to be cost-effective as well as reliable,” says Bas Klomp, vice president of sales and marketing. “The modification in our packaging for individual sales helps healthcare centers manage costs while also providing their surgical teams with leading nerve monitoring instruments to serve their patients.”

For the popular stimulating dissectors, Neurosign continues to also offer them in packages of 10.

In addition to the new packaging for stimulating instruments, Neurosign now is also offering white single needle electrodes in boxes of 20. These needles are used as the return needle for monopolar stimulating probes, stimulating instruments and dissectors
